Diane | Integrative counsellor

There are times in life that can be difficult and challenging for all of us.  The first step is admitting you are struggling this can be the most difficult.  There are a number of reasons people seek support, possibly a life changing event, historical trauma, feelings of anxiety or depression, or maybe stuck in a cycle of unhealthy behaviours, or addiction.  Unhealthy behaviours that are impacting on relationships, self – sabotage, struggling to understand why you are doing it. Maybe you feel out of control, I can guide and support you to take back that control over your life.

The ideology behind my work as quoted by Jackson Brown Jr – Remember that everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something and has lost something.

I have been practising for 16 years.  Alongside my skills and experience, I bring my own life experiences into my practice.   I have been in that dark place where I have suffered loss, rejection, abandonment and didn’t know if to sink or swim. I chose to swim, it was tough and I had to rediscover myself.  My moto is ‘there is a solution to everything’ it may not be easy, but with small steps and realistic goals change can happen if you are prepared to put the work in.

I offer a safe space, free from judgement, respect confidentiality and place the highest levels of standards on myself.  I act in the best interests of my clients to promote and achieve goals, by empowering people to be the best version of you. I work with individuals and couples, I have a passion for supporting individuals in their journey to make and sustain life changes
