ADHD treatment and medication initiation for new patients with a pre-existing diagnosis
If you have received an ADHD diagnosis from the NHS or another reputable healthcare provider, we can typically accept this diagnosis as the basis for beginning treatment with us. Once your diagnosis is reviewed and confirmed, you can proceed directly to medication initiation with one of our psychiatrists. This process ensures that your treatment is tailored to your specific needs while adhering to best-practice guidelines. If additional clarification or documentation is required, our team will guide you through the necessary steps.

Our assessments are all conducted by consultant psychiatrists.
Prescriptions
If we recommend medication, all admin fees will be included in the cost of your follow-up appointment, but the cost of the medication itself will not be included.
*If repeat prescriptions are provided without a follow-up medication review, a £20 fee (‘Repeat prescription admin charge’) will be charged to cover the administration of the prescription, as well as tracked postage to the pharmacy. This excludes the cost of the medication.

Cooling-off period
After assessment, a costed treatment package will be offered to you and you will have a two-week cooling off period. You can cancel a treatment plan at any time. Your cooling-off period begins the day after you enter a contract with us – whether the contract’s written down or if it’s an oral contract. If you paid up front or made a deposit and cancel in the cooling-off period, you’ll be entitled to receive all the money back. The only exception is if you asked for services to be provided during the cooling-off period, in which case we will keep what’s necessary to cover the cost of services provided up until you cancelled.Fee for failed Direct Debits
We apply a £25 admin fee for every failed Direct Debit to cover the costs associated with processing these payment issues. When a Direct Debit fails, we incur charges from the bank, which adds to our operational costs. These charges are beyond our control and are applied each time a payment is unsuccessful. To ensure our service remains efficient and sustainable, we pass on this cost as part of our payment policy.
In addition to the bank fees, a failed Direct Debit also requires administrative time to resolve. Our team must investigate the reason for the failure, notify the patient or their guardian, update payment records, and arrange for a new payment. This additional workload takes time away from other essential tasks and impacts the smooth running of our operations. The £25 fee helps cover these administrative efforts, ensuring we can continue to provide a high level of service while managing payment processes effectively.
